Thankful Thursday!

Today, I am thankful ...

for my Savior, Jesus Christ

for my family, with whom I get to spend this wonder Thanksgiving

for Cody, who was finally able to get off work this Thanksgiving so he could eat Thanksgiving lunch with my family

for the delicious breakfast I'm cooking Cody and I this morning

 for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

for the delicious Thanksgiving lunch we will have at my Grandmommy and Grandads house

for banana pudding, sausage balls, and shrimp dip

for the much needed, relaxing week I am having off of school

that tomorrow is Black Friday

for the night I will spend with my Grandmommy and Grandad tomorrow to help decorate their house for Christmas

for all of my lovely followers

This is the time of year when people become busy with the things of this world such as shopping, preparing for holiday parties, buying presents and the list could go on and on. Let's Play Catch Up! {Part Three}

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all having a great and very relaxing weekend! If you read Let's Play Catch Up! {Part Two}, then you will remember that I mentioned Cody's birthday gift from me was so big that it needed it's own post. Well, here it is...

He got 2 tickets to the Georgia Aquarium, the AT&T Dolphin Tales show, and the Braves vs. the New York Mets game!

WARNING: This post is full of pictures, so be prepared!

Our first stop of the day was Ikea, which in case you haven't been is the greatest place on Earth! We went to Ikea to pick up a table so I could make this for my future classroom...

We spent so long looking around that we decided to eat lunch at Ikea while taking in the gorgeous views.

After lunch, we headed over to the Georgia Aquarium!

After the AT&T Dolphin Tales show, we spent a few hours exploring the aquarium. If you have been to the Georgia Aquarium before, but maybe not in a few years I recommend you go back. This was Cody's first time, however, I went a few years ago and so many things have been added since then!

After the Georgia Aquarium we stopped at the Varisty! I have never been to a Braves game without stopping at the Varisty first, so I told Cody it was a must!

I was too busy enjoying the exact food in the picture above to take my own pictures... don't judge. :)

The final stop of the day was the Braves vs. the NY Mets game.

This wasn't just any normal Braves game, but it was Chipper Jones retirement game/ceremony. Chipper Jones started playing for the Braves when Cody and I were just babies. We've grown up watching Chipper play, so it was really special for us to be able to attend his retirement game. :)

Finally, for the grand finale we enjoyed a fireworks show after the game at Turner Field.
