Sweet Treat Swap!

Happy Halloween!

As promised, I am back again today to link up and share my Sweet Treat Swap goodies! This Sweet Treat Swap was hosted by Sarah Grace from gracefully made and Amy from Taking Steps Home. This swap is exactly what it sounds like, a swap full of sweet treats just in time for Halloween! Who said sweet treats were just for kids?

I was so excited when I received my package! My sweet treat swap partner was none other than sweet Sarah Grace from gracefully made. :)

My sweet treat package included an adorable card, Halloween funfetti cake mix, a french vanilla candle, Halloween cupcake wrappers, candy corn, and a double chocolate chip cookie! So... I may or may not have taken this picture on Saturday when my package arrived, which might mean I have already baked and enjoyed some Halloween funfetti cupcakes. :)

Let's Play Catch Up! {Part One}

Hello Everyone!

Wow! How long has it been since I wrote an actual post? I've stopped by periodically for Oh, How Pinteresting! and Currently, but I haven't written an actual post in forever. However, I am back now complete with a totally new blog design and ready to play catch up!

Since my last blog post I have...

successfully taken and passed my GACE

 been advised and I am  ready to register October 31

found out I'm all set to apply to the School of Education in February

survived midterms thanks to my go to snacks of a chocolate chip muffin, baked Doritos, and a Coke

completed a few things on my to-do list such as labeling and organizing all my children's books

taken some much needed time to meet with a friend. Cody and I met with a friend for lunch and he ordered an entree that included grilled cactus. Has anyone ever eaten grilled cactus? This amazing entree was also delivered to our table in a steaming rock, yes, a rock!

finally, I spent a wonderful  fall night with Cody at the local fair

New Blog Design!

Welcome to the new and improved Teach*Pray*Love!

I would like to give a shout out to Kristen at From Kristen,With Love and Kristen Danielle Designs for creating my beautiful new blog design.

Kristen was an absolute joy to work with! I was very indecisive about my design and I feel like I made a million changes. She was very patient with me, quick to make the changes I asked for, and offered so many great ideas. In the end, my design turned out better than I could have imagined.
