Currently ~ July

Happy Friday!

I am in need of a few suggestions for a teaching bag to use this school year. I will need something big enough to carry at least an iPad, my Erin Condren Teacher Planner, and a small binder with me every day.
I love the Fossil Key-Per because it is not only extremely roomy, but also has multiple pockets, zips shut, and can be wiped clean, however, it is a bit pricey.

What is your opinion? What is your go to teaching bag?

  1. Constant rain is a problem for sure! We have a lot of it here too.

    1. I love that we're getting a lot of rain, but it really has put a damper on our July 4th. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I am a big fan of fossil bags! I'm carrying one of their crossbody bags right now. Have you looked at Vera Bradley? I get weekly emails from them with deals and just last week they had an adorable tote for under $40.

    1. I have looked at Vera Bradley. I actually have a Vera Bradley cross body and backpack, but I was leaning toward a fossil bag for the quality. I will have to check out the newest Vera Bradley bags before I make my final decision. Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Rain?? We don't know what that is in Phoenix!

As for a teaching bag, I gave up and just started using my backpack. I know it's silly, but it was the only thing sturdy enough I could find that would fit my laptop (I take it home every night) plus whatever papers I use. I have a Swiss Laptop Backpack if that helps!

    1. We have definitely seen our fair share of rain this summer here in Georgia! I have actually considered carrying my Vera Bradley backpack, but I am still undecided. Thanks for stopping by!

  4. OOH! I like that big bag. I have a giant old canvas bag I got from Target a few years back... I've used it for over 2 years now and it is NASTY. I need a new one too! Thanks for the suggestion. :)
I linked over from Farley's linky party. Hope you had a good 4th of july!

    1. I have actually looked at several canvas bags, but I didn't buy them for that exact reason. I was afraid it would be nasty after only a few months and the Fossil bags can be wiped clean. I hope you had a wonderful July 4th as well!

  5. 1. Your name and site are absolutely precious. I love it! :) I'm hopping on the followers list today.
    2. I can hardly believe our summers are almost gone either. I go in for teacher institute next week. Where did the time go???
    3. My go to bag is a personalized Thirty-One bag that I have put a hanging file folder box to hold my things. I like it but yours looks more professional. Maybe it's time for an upgrade?

    Happy blogging.

    1. Thank you! I am so glad to have you as my newest follower. I wish I knew where the summer has gone! I start pre-planning on Monday so I only have a few more days of summer left. I have looked at Thirty-One bags several times, but I can never find a pattern that I love. Thanks for stopping by!

I just found your cutesy blog thanks to Farley's linky part for July -- glad I did. Can't wait to read your posts. Also, I'm so loving that Fossil bag! I was just at the outlet last week and didn't snag one :(
